The famous counter at the 1997 bar which was opened as the Brittish declared their intentions to hand over Hong Kong to the Chinese. I wonder if they are going to change the name ?

A lot of people were dressed in Brittish or Chinese costumes. But I didn't wear my Mao unirform...
TV people and journalists were everywhere. Around 8000 journalists were supposed to be covering Hong Kong Handover/reunion.
Here, just outside the Star Ferry terminal on the Hong Kong side demonstrations were held on the first day as an SAR. We didn't join them.
