The zoo of Singapore has a night safari. As the locals said "they make the animals work overtime". Actually, it was a very good idea. You were placed on small open trains (sets of 3 cars) whch were driven around the night-park to watch the nocturne animals. My guess was that they were fed after the last car so the trick was to sit as far back as possible.
Here is the Tiger. After taking the train ride you could walk around the gardens as well. We passed the suspension bridge, then we made it up to the tiger. You weren't allowed to take photos of it with a flashlight, hence the poor picture quality.
Another snapshot of the tiger.
Here Mia sips her pink lady dring after the night safari. How many red points is that ?
Martin sipping on a Tom Collins.
Again, a view over the Singapore port.
We went to one of Martins favorite restaurants at Orchard road. I was here 4 years ago, and the place was as good as ever. It is called "The Spice Express", and is located in the forum stores center on top of Orchard road. They serve a good mixture of Asian dishes, Thai and Indonesian in particular. I had beef and Mia a chicken with red curry. We asked for it spicy, and it was hot and still very nice. Mia who is really into fruit drinks had a Guava juice. And, thanks for dinner by the way!
Here we see one of the X potuguesan villas (?) on Scotts road on our way back to the hotel.
Mia in the lobby, ready to leave. Sneezing like crazy she did not like the air conditioner system.
